Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces ripe pears Approximately 5-6 oz each.
  • 4 oz feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts Optional for added crunch.
  • a pinch salt
  • a pinch black pepper
  • fresh leaves mint For garnish, optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Rinse and dry the pears. Cut each pear in half lengthwise and remove the core.
  • Place the pear halves cut side up in a baking dish.
  • Crumble the feta cheese evenly over the pear halves.
  • Sprinkle the dried cranberries over the feta.
  • Drizzle the honey over the top of each pear half, ensuring they are coated well.
  • If desired, sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for added crunch.
  • Lightly season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the pears are tender and lightly caramelized.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh mint leaves if using.
  • Serve warm straight from the baking dish or let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the walnuts with your favorite nuts or omit them entirely.
You can also experiment by adding spices such as cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor.
