Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Whisk together until well blended.
Place the chicken thighs in the baking dish skin-side up. Pour the garlic brown sugar mixture over the chicken, making sure to coat each piece evenly.
If desired, cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to prevent over-browning. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, remove the foil (if used) and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The skin should be golden brown and caramelized.
Once done, remove the baking dish from the oven. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired, and serve with your choice of sides.
