Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large baking dish, combine the cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), and olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper, and mix well to coat the tomatoes.
Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the baking dish, surrounded by the cherry tomatoes.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the tomatoes have burst and the feta is soft and golden.
While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Once the baking is complete, remove the dish from the oven and use a fork to mash the feta cheese into the tomatoes, creating a creamy sauce.
Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
