  • ¾ cup Half and half (or use milk and cream)
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 21 ounces Apple pie filling
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • cup Brown sugar
  • cup Pure maple syrup for drizzle
  • Chopped maple bacon
  • 8 slices Thick bacon
  • Butter for skillet cooking
  • Cinnamon raisin swirl potato bread

  • Crack and whisk eggs with half and half, sugar, and vanilla in a big bowl until combined.
  • Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in another bowl until smooth and spreadable.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture on four slices of bread, then spoon apple pie filling evenly and sprinkle with cinnamon. Top with remaining bread slices to create sandwiches.
  • Melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture thoroughly.
  • Cook sandwiches in skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Place sandwiches in the pressure cooker with a clean sealing ring. Lock lid and set valve to sealing.
  • Cook under high pressure for 10 minutes, followed by a slow release.
  • Serve warm, drizzle with maple syrup, and sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.

Notes

Serve with additional maple syrup and fresh fruits if desired. Perfect for a cozy breakfast or a brunch treat with family and friends.
