Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped apples you want 'em crisp
  • 1 cup pitted and chopped dates these add that sweet chewiness
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts don’t skimp
  • ¼ cup sweet red wine brings a subtle zing
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon classic spice
  • 1 tablespoon honey natural sweetener

Instructions

Instructions

  • Chop those apples nice and even so they cook good and consistent. Same with your dates for a little bite.
  • Toss chopped apples and dates into your big bowl. You ready to get that mix started.
  • Add in your chopped walnuts, splash in the sweet red wine, sprinkle cinnamon all over, then drizzle honey. Mix it gently but good so every bit gets in on the action.
  • Pop the whole bowl into your pressure cooker. Close it up and set your timer for 15 mins. Let the pressure cooker do a natural release after cooking.
  • Once the float valve drops, open carefully and transfer the mixture into a container. Refrigerate for at least 30 mins so flavors mingle.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature. You can swap walnuts for other nuts like pecans or almonds if desired.
