Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 basting brush
  • 1 serving plate

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon about 6 oz each
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar optional
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, rice vinegar (if using), black pepper, and salt. Whisk together until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the bowl, ensuring they are evenly coated with the honey garlic mixture. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin side down. Make sure they are arranged in a single layer.
  • Air fry the salmon for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  • Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate. Drizzle any leftover glaze from the bowl over the salmon.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

You can serve this salmon over a bed of rice or alongside steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
Keep an eye on the salmon towards the end of the cooking time to prevent overcooking.
If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, you can increase the amount of minced garlic in the marinade.
This recipe can easily be adjusted for larger or smaller servings by modifying the amount of salmon and marinade accordingly.
