Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces hot dogs
  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Make a lengthwise cut down the center of each hot dog, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Insert a slice of cheddar cheese into each cut hot dog, pushing it down gently.
  • Spread a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. Optionally mix garlic powder and dried parsley into the butter for added flavor.
  • Place one hot dog between two slices of bread, buttered side out. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  • Arrange the grilled cheese hot dog sandwiches in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove the sandwiches from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving.
