  • 1 mixing bowl for whisking, if making scrambled eggs
  • 1 fork for whisking, if making scrambled eggs
  • 1 timer
  • 1 tongs for handling hot eggs

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • to taste salt Optional
  • to taste pepper Optional
  • as needed cooking spray or oil Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 270°F (130°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • If making hard-boiled eggs, place the eggs directly in the air fryer basket. For soft-boiled eggs, reduce cooking time to 8 minutes. For scrambled eggs, whisk the eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper, then pour into a small oven-safe dish that fits in the air fryer.
  • Cook the eggs in the air fryer for the desired time: Hard-boiled: 10 minutes; Soft-boiled: 8 minutes; Scrambled: 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway.
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the eggs from the air fryer using tongs.
  • For hard-boiled eggs, transfer them to an ice bath to cool for a few minutes, then peel and serve.
  • For soft-boiled eggs, slice the top off and enjoy with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  • For scrambled eggs, let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Cooking times may vary slightly depending on the air fryer model.
For easy peeling of hard-boiled eggs, consider using older eggs as they tend to peel easier.
You can customize the scrambled eggs by adding cheese, vegetables, or other ingredients as desired.
Always be cautious when removing items from the air fryer as they will be hot.
