Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade mixture. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 5 minutes.
Place the marinated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded and have space for air to circulate.
Cook the chicken at 380°F (193°C) for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, flip each chicken breast over and cook for an additional 10-13 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken from the air fryer using tongs and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
