Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 spoon or spatula
  • 1 aluminum foil or parchment paper (optional)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • ½ cup dill pickles, sliced
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup mustard
  • as needed cooking spray for air fryer

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  • Form the beef mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Place the beef patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through and browned.
  • Once the patties are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface. Place a cooked beef patty on each tortilla, followed by a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese, a few slices of pickles, and a drizzle of ketchup and mustard.
  • Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling, ensuring that the ends are tucked in.
  • Optional: Wrap each cheeseburger wrap in aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy handling.
  • Return the wrapped burgers to the air fryer basket and spray the outsides with cooking spray. Air fry for an additional 5 minutes at 375°F (190°C) until the wraps are crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove the wraps from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before slicing in half. Serve hot.

Notes

You can customize the fillings by adding other toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, or onions.
If you prefer a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with a meat alternative or black beans.
These wraps can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for quick meals throughout the week. Just reheat in the air fryer before serving.
