Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheese Optional.
  • as desired various lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles For toppings.
  • as desired various condiments Ketchup, mustard, etc.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overwork the meat.
  • Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick.
  • Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  • Cook the patties for 8 minutes, then flip them over and cook for an additional 7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
  • If using cheese, add a slice to each patty during the last minute of cooking and close the air fryer to let it melt.
  • Remove the burgers from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding your desired toppings and condiments.

Notes

For a healthier option, you can use ground turkey or chicken.
Ensure the air fryer is not overcrowded for even cooking.
Feel free to customize the seasonings based on your taste preferences.
You can toast the buns in the air fryer for an additional 1-2 minutes for a crispier texture.
