Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 tongs or spatula
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 sharp knife

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar optional
  • to taste grated Parmesan cheese for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Start by trimming the ends of the Brussels sprouts and removing any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut each sprout in half.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure all sprouts are evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring that they are not overcrowded. You may need to do this in batches.
  • Cook the Brussels sprouts for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. They should be golden brown and crispy when done.
  • If desired, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and toss to coat just before serving. You can also sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top for an extra flavor boost.
  • Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
