Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 whisk or fork
  • 1 parchment paper optional
  • 1 bread pan if needed

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup warm water About 110°F or 43°C.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk until thoroughly blended.
  • Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix with a spoon until a dough forms. It should be slightly sticky but manageable.
  • Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Shape the dough into a loaf. If using a bread pan, place it inside. If not, you can shape it and place it directly in the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the loaf in the air fryer and cook at 320°F (160°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, remove the bread from the air fryer and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
  • For a richer flavor, consider adding herbs, cheese, or seeds to the dough.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider adding herbs, cheese, or seeds to the dough.
Store any leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
This bread can also be toasted for an additional crunch when serving.
