Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 serving dish

Ingredients

  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Start by washing the baby potatoes thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a towel.
  • Cut the potatoes in half to ensure they cook evenly. If some potatoes are larger, you can cut them into quarters.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the halved potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the potatoes are evenly coated with the oil and spices.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned baby potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure they are spread out in a single layer for even cooking.
  • Cook the potatoes in the air fryer for 20 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through to ensure they brown evenly.
  • Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  • You can customize the seasoning according to your taste. Try adding Italian herbs or lemon zest for a different flavor.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. If you're making a larger batch, it’s better to cook in two separate batches.
  • For extra crispiness, increase the cooking time by a couple of minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
