  • 1 medium saucepan
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 cooking spatula
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet
  • ¼ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice white or brown
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • ½ cup carrots, sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 pieces green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  • Begin by preheating the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces. In a mixing bowl, combine the salmon pieces with olive oil and teriyaki sauce. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Place the coated salmon bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 7-10 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and slightly crispy on the outside.
  • While the salmon is cooking, steam the broccoli and carrots for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still vibrant in color.
  • Prepare the rice according to package instructions if not already cooked.
  • To serve, place a generous portion of rice in each bowl. Top with the air-fried teriyaki salmon bites, steamed broccoli, and carrots.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Notes

You can substitute salmon with other fish or chicken if preferred.
Feel free to add other vegetables such as bell peppers or snap peas for added nutrition and color.
For extra flavor, consider drizzling some additional teriyaki sauce on top before serving.
